1. Introduce your topic and discuss its importance.
In my project i will mainly discuss about what really happens in animal farms. For example, many things go into maintaining a farm full of a diverse group of animals. Sometimes the owners of these farms are not really aware of what happens to his/her animals because the only thing they care about is profit. This means that some of the animals go uncared and are ignored for many weeks at a time. Chickens, pigs and cows go through a lot of abuse in these farms since their owners just basically let them fend for themselves and most of the time whenever they try and help these animals they fear that this option is too expensive and fear it would ruin their income.
2. Introduce your questions and a working thesis.
Some of the questions that I can touch upon in my paper are, Where do these animals come from? What really happens behing closed doors in these farms? How are cattle raised at birth so that they can be killed? What are these animals fed? What happens if an animal is found with a disease? How much do farmers really care for these animals? How come some of these animals grow at a different rate than they did a few years ago?. Thesis- Farms are looked upon as regular family houses were animals are raised but over the years the concept of farming has immensely changed into a nightmare.
3. Discuss specific tools and sources that you will be using to conduct your research.
Some of the resources I will use are books, the internet, and different newspapers or magazine articles. Most of the reading I will focus on is books related to farm animals and books about the farming industry, an example of this book will be The ethics of what we eat by Peter Singer which some of the animal abuses are described. In the internet I can use many different databases. And Times magazine and New york times are also periodicals that can be useful for my project.
Hey Jesus ...I Like your idea of the reasearch topic. You touched apon a lot of questions that I didnt even think of which is great. It seems as if your research paper is going to be well developed and well written according to your prospectus. The information sources that you intend to use seems credible. I hope your end results Turn Out Well
